Salford is an established, growing University, with over 20,000 students and an excellent reputation for teaching, research, innovation and community engagement.

Chespack Hygiene was asked to assist with an issue in lower ground washrooms with no windows for natural ventilation. The basins, toilets, urinals and shower areas were extremely smelly with the problem spreading into the surrounding areas, even after regular, thorough cleaning by the Building Management team.

We recommended a specialist odour neutraliser by Evans and different cleaning techniques for the walls and floors. We also advised on a daily mopping routine using a dilluted odour neutraliser and a periodic wall spraying. Finally we suppied urinal caps to trial if the problem returned.

Three months on and the issue had been eliminated with the Building Manager a very happy man.
